THUNDER BAY -- Variety was the selling point at the second annual Spring Career Fair at Lakehead University Thursday.
The fair had employers from all around the region, along with representatives from Southern Ontario and Alberta companies.
The number of employers on hand went up from 20 to 30 this year. All disciplines LU has to offer were covered from business, health care, social services to engineering firms.
The employers were offering full time, part time, summer employment, co-op and volunteer opportunities, to ensure that no student would miss out on a flexible career opportunity.
The career fair saw an increase in student interest as well this year, bringing in more than 500 students.
