Students bring home four medals from Canada-Wide Science Fair

Northwestern Ontario’s young scientists brought home four medals from the Canada-Wide Science Fair earlier this month.

Northwestern Ontario’s young scientists brought home four medals from the Canada-Wide Science Fair earlier this month.

Sir Winston Churchill Collegiate and Vocational Institute’s Kelly Yang captured a silver medal, while school-mates Anirudh Shahi and Jay Chen took home bronze medals.

Holly Salem, a Grade 7 student at Claude E. Garton Public School also was awarded bronze at the six-day event, held in Fredericton, N.B.
