As the number of H1N1 cases continue to increase, the Thunder Bay District Health unit says there is still a large number of people deciding not to get the vaccination.
The Health Unit’s Associate Medical Officer Janet Demille says they have distributed almost 60,000 doses of the flu vaccine this season in the Northwest.
Demille adds that there are 78 lab confirmed cases in the region, but anticipates the total amount of cases is well into the thousands.
There are no concerns about vaccine shortages in this region.
