Stabbing sends man to hospital

THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay Police have a 23-year-old Weagamow Lake man in custody after an alleged stabbing Saturday sent a 33-year-old man to hospital.

THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay Police have a 23-year-old Weagamow Lake man in custody after an alleged stabbing Saturday sent a 33-year-old man to hospital.

The alleged incident occurred in the 400 block of George Street, where the victim was found with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said in a release issued Sunday the suspect was apprehended a short distance away. He has not been named, pending a court appearance on Monday.
