THUNDER BAY -- Arthur Street, between Edward and Tarbutt Streets, will be under construction beginning this week.
In a news release issued Monday afternoon, officials with the City of Thunder Bay confirm that the construction project includes water main, storm sewer and road work.
The project begins the week of June 2 and will take about 15 weeks to complete.
Work will be done in stages over several block sections. Travel will be limited to one lane in each direction through the construction zone.
Left turn restrictions will be posted.
Edward Street will be closed to through traffic for the initial stage of construction.
All businesses will remain open during construction.
