A 29-year-old man is in custody following an Egan Street domestic dispute on Thursday.
Thunder Bay Police say the suspect, who can’t be named to protect the identity of the victim, was found in possession of a pellet gun – although the initial call suggested the weapon was a handgun.
Police allege the man uttered death threat during the dispute, which occurred about 4:30 p.m. on the day in question.
The suspect fled the scene and was located a short time later by police on McIntyre Street. Police said they found a pellet gun during their search near the original incident scene.
The 29-year-old remains in custody and faces charges of possession of a weapon dangerous and uttering threats.
No one was injured in the incident.
