THUNDER BAY -- A labour dispute at Bombardier’s local plant has led to traffic woes on Montreal Street.
A traffic advisory sent out by the Thunder Bay Police Service Tuesday morning states the 800 striking employees are at the site, which has resulted in parking issues in the area of the plant.
City police are attempting to direct traffic to keep vehicles moving safely through the area.
City police officials are asking that the public avoids Montreal Street between Mountdale Avenue and Neebing Avenue if possible.
Police also say the public should be aware that there will be delays for anyone driving in the vicinity of the Bombardier plant.
