THUNDER BAY -- The city’s police service is now working with the RCMP on an unsolved homicide from 1994.
In January of that year 20-year-old Jamie McGuire of Thunder Bay was last seen travelling to Winnipeg.
Her body was found in a rural area near Portage la Prairie in March of 1994.
The RCMP recently contacted the Thunder Bay Police Service the help bring awareness to the historical unsolved homicide via Project Devote.
