THUNDER BAY -- City buses are back on the road.

The City of Thunder Bay’s transit division announced that services had resumed just before 8:30 a.m. on its official Twitter and Facebook
accounts.

City buses were pulled off their routes at about 7 a.m. as freezing rain led to dangerous road conditions.

Sand and salt trucks have been working on improving road conditions this morning, which eventually led to the buses getting back on the road.

Transit users should expect delays, but can see when their next bus will arrive at their stop via www.nextlift.ca.
