THUNDER BAY -- Longtime Shuniah Reeve Maria Harding attended her final council meeting Monday night.
Harding has served on Shuniah Council since 1988, and has been the Reeve since 1995.
After more than 25 years of public service, Harding says she will now have more time for family.
“I have family in Australia and my other son lives in Toronto,” Harding said while speaking with CKPR Radio.
“So I will be able to spend some time with my now grown children and enjoy some travelling and operating my bed and breakfast on Lake Superior.”
