Police investigating hit and run that left garage heavily damaged

Police are looking for a hit-and-run suspect after a garage was heavily damaged Friday morning. Officers were called to the 200 block of Peter Street near River Street around 1 a.m.

Police are looking for a hit-and-run suspect after a garage was heavily damaged Friday morning.

Officers were called to the 200 block of Peter Street near River Street around 1 a.m. After a vehicle left the road and took out a fire hydrant before smashing into the garage, causing heavy damage. The driver then fled the scene.

Police are looking for a 2000 Dodge pick-up truck with extensive front end damage.
