THUNDER BAY --  Thunder Bay Police say the driver of one of the vehicles involved in a fatal crash last Friday had a suspended GI driver's licence.

The 22-year-old woman died in the crash, as did her 22-year-old boyfriend.

No charges will be laid, police determined on Thursday, saying they've ended their investigation.

A 62-year-old woman driving a SUV was also seriously injured as a result of the crash, but has been released from hospital.

Officers have determined that the sedan was being driven eastbound on Oliver Road, and the SUV was being driven westbound.

Speeds were determined to be near the posted limit of 80 kilometres-an-hour.

The driver of the sedan lost control of her vehicle and it began to rotate as it slid into the oncoming lane.

The SUV struck the passenger side of the car and both vehicles were extensively damaged.
