FORT FRANCES, Ont. -- The Transportation Safety Board has wrapped up its investigation into a train derailment in the Nickel Lake area near Fort Frances more than a year ago.

About 40 loaded grain cars of a CN train went off the track on November 10th, 2013.

Several cars ruptured and spilled grain, but there were no injuries.

It has been determined that a combination of  track conditions, as well as the usage of long, heavily loaded trains resulted in the incident.
