Motel bust lands Quebec man in jail

A Quebec man faces numerous drug-related charges after police crashed a north-side motel room on Tuesday. Police say they found a small amount of marijuana and cocaine, along with $14,730 in Canadian currency in the afternoon bust.

A Quebec man faces numerous drug-related charges after police crashed a north-side motel room on Tuesday.

Police say they found a small amount of marijuana and cocaine, along with $14,730 in Canadian currency in the afternoon bust.
They also seized $725 in U.S. funds.

Daniel Bourque Jr. appeared in court on Wednesday and will face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of marijuana, proceeds of crime over $5,000, four counts of breach of probation and breach of undertaking.

He’s been remanded to the Thunder Bay District Jail.
