Robbery suspect brandishing syringe sought by police

A man, armed with a syringe, is being sought in an early-moning convenience-store robbery. Thunder Bay Police say the suspect, who they did not describe, entered a Mac's Convenience store on South Waterloo Street at aproximately 4:47 a.m.

A man, armed with a syringe, is being sought in an early-moning convenience-store robbery.

Thunder Bay Police say the suspect, who they did not describe, entered a Mac's Convenience store on South Waterloo Street at aproximately 4:47 a.m. on Sunday morning, threatened the clerk on duty and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The clerk was not injured.

Police said their investigation continues.
