Three charged with trafficking methamphetamine following traffic stop

The following is a media release issued by the Northwest Region OPP: 

 

(DRYDEN, ON) – On Tuesday March 24, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting traffic enforcement when they stopped a white Toyota car for a traffic violation on Highway 17 within the Township of Ignace.

Upon investigation three occupants of the motor vehicle were found to be in possession of a controlled substance and have been charged accordingly.

The driver Dwayne Brown, 34,  of Kitchener, passenger Trysten Chase, 23, of North York and passenger Ann Marie Houston, 34, of Thunder Bay have been charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and Trafficking in a controlled substance, cocaine, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and substance Act.

All three have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court in Dryden on May 4, 2015 to answer to the charge.
