Police investigating death of 35-year-old Dryden man

The OPP crime unit has been called in to investigate the death of a 35-year-old man at a hotel in Dryden.

Travis Scott Herbert was unresponsive and being treated by patrons and staff at the Patricia Inn when members of the Dryden Police Service arrived on scene early Saturday morning.

Paramedics arrived and transported the man to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Dryden police have requested the assistance of the OPP Northwest Region crime unit to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.

A post-mortem has been scheduled for Toronto.

Police, who did not reveal the cause of death in a release issued late Saturday night, are requesting anyone who was at the Patricia Inn on Friday night or early Saturday morning to contact them at 807-223-3281 or the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
