THUNDER BAY -- City police responded to more than 160 incidents during the week of Monday, April 27, 2015 through Sunday, May 3, 2015.

The more than 160 incidents reported last week do not include traffic cases.

South of the Harbour Expressway, city police responded to 91 reported crimes. Some of the more serious incidents included:

  • 9 Assaults
  • 1 Break and enter
  • 1 Robbery
  • 1 Sexual assault
  • 5 Thefts
  • 3 Thefts from vehicles
  • 5 Weapons charges


Meanwhile, north of the Harbour Expressway, officers responded to more than 69 criminal reports.

Some of the more serious incidents reported include:

  • 8 Assaults
  • 5 Break and enters
  • 1 Robbery
  • 1 Sexual assault
  • 10 Thefts
  • 1 Theft from vehicles
  • 3 Weapons charges

The vast majority of cases city police responded to were listed as either liquor or disorder.
