Nishnawbe Aski Nation is hosting a discussion next week on social issues facing First Nations in Thunder Bay.

Facing Challenges of Today for Tomorrow Roundtable comes out of a Chiefs' resolution called Social Commonalities with our Urban Neighbours.

The meeting, May 20 at the Airlane Hotel, will focus on homelessness, community safety, prevention strategies and positives.

Participants include city officials, college and university officials, OPP and city police, the NAN executive, Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and charitable organizations.
