THUNDER BAY – A flood outlook is in effect for the Thunder Bay District.
In a news release issued Tuesday, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry warned area residents of the flood outlook following weather reports indicating heavy rains were expected for the region.
The Ministry statement goes on to request residents keep a close watch on conditions and regularly check for updated messages.
People are also asked to stay away from fast moving rivers and streams.
As much as 30 to 50 millimetres of rain could be heading for this region.
