THUNDER BAY – An early morning fire has destroyed a trailer on Chippewa Road.
Officials from Thunder Bay Fire Rescue say the trailer on Totem Trailer Court on Chippewa Road sustained extensive damage following the two-alarm blaze.
Firefighters responded to reports of the fire at about 4 a.m. Monday. When fire crews arrived they found the trailer already engulfed in flames.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time but remains under investigation.
The fire’s heat melted siding on neighbouring trailers but the fire did not spread to any other properties.
