THUNDER BAY – City police have released more information, including images, into the recent attempted armed robbery of a gas bar.
The attempted robbery took place in the early morning of Thursday Oct. 1 at the Shell gas bar at 888 Red River Road.
Police say a man armed with a knife entered the gas bar just before 1 a.m. and demanded money. He fled the scene empty handed.
On Friday police released images of the suspect along with more details of the suspect’s description.
Police say the suspect stands about six-feet tall, is a Caucasian man and wore a red hoody and green mask and pants at the time of the robbery attempt.
