THUNDER BAY -- A woman pushing a stroller has been struck by a vehicle on the city’s north side.
Thunder Bay first responders responded to the report of a pedestrian and motor vehicle collisions at about 4:45 p.m. Saturday on Red River Road.
Emergency services workers performed a secondary injury assessment on the woman before she climbed into an ambulance under her own power.
They then loaded a baby from a stroller into the ambulance.
Thunder Bay Police Service and Thunder Bay Fire spokesmen confirmed injuries are not life-threatening.
Editor's Note: A previous version of this story relayed two separate pedestrian- vehicle collisions. A second vehicle/pedestrian collision was a dispatch error.
