Police say criminal investigation pending after latest auto-pedestrian collision

THUNDER BAY -- Police say a pedestrian who was struck by a taxi outside of Intercity Mall on Monday afternoon may have been responsible for the collision.

THUNDER BAY -- Police say a pedestrian who was struck by a taxi outside of Intercity Mall on Monday afternoon may have been responsible for the collision. 

An ambulance transported the pedestrian to hospital where he is being assessed for minor injuries after colliding with the taxi at 4:25 p.m. 

Although no one has been charged in the incident, Thunder Bay Police Service officers have requested mall security recordings to conduct a criminal investigation. 

The incident occurred outside of the mall's main entrance.
