THUNDER BAY -- KWG Resources is making progress on a potential rail line to the Ring of Fire.
On Tuesday the company announced its Chinese agent Golden Share Mining Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding with China Railway First Survey & Design Institute Group to begin a feasibility study on a North South railway to the Ring of Fire.
KWG Vice President Moe Lavigne says the company will also being holding talks with stake holders while it's here.
Lavigne believes a feasibility study could be completed within 12 months.
