Robber in pajama pants could be serial thief, targets convenience store Monday night

THUNDER BAY -- Another business has been the target of a robbery, and the description of the suspect is eerily similar to another four robberies reported this month.

Police say a woman in red pajama pants entered a convenience store on Shuniah Street at about 10 p.m. Monday and demanded money.

The woman left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen heading toward Huron Avenue.

The woman is said to have a slim build and stands about five-feet-two-inches tall. She wore a black scarf covering her face and red pajama pants at the time of the robbery.

The woman appears to match the description of a suspect involved in and incident at the Landmark Inn on Saturday, and three other robberies last week.
