THUNDER BAY -- A Thunder Bay trampoline business is shutting its doors.

A post on the AeroSports Trampoline Park Thunder Bay Facebook Page indicates the closure is immediate. A company official confirmed the news on Monday night in a response to Thunder Bay Television.

“We would like to thank everyone in Thunder Bay for the support over the last two years,” the post indicates.

“As of tomorrow we will closing our park. Please feel free to contact the park during the day for any concerns or questions.

A second post suggests the decision was not in the local operators’ hands.

“We were visited by our head office and they made the decision to close the park in Thunder Bay. They did ask us to do our best in making sure we accommodate anything that was booked or purchased prior. We do not want to leave anyone in a bad situation.”

A concerned patron asked about a down-payment and whether or not she’d be getting a refund and the company said it would be contacting all clients who had booked events to provide full refunds.

There is no indication how many people will be out of work because of the closure of the facility, located on the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition grounds.
