The Township of O'Connor has declared a State of Emergency due to washed out roads within the Township.
Water has receded but some roads are still closed and other are in poor condition. PLEASE DRIVE WITH CAUTION WHEN TRAVELLING.
Garbutt Road from Highway 590 to Holomego Road is Closed. Please note that this one of the Ministry of Transportation detour route for the Highway 595 Road Closure.
Please use the alternate detour route on Pool Road and Whittaker Road.
Sovereign Road between Highway 590 and Fleming Road is Closed.
Smith Road between Garbutt Road and Harstone Road is closed.
The road crew are currently working on the roads and information will be updated as roads are reopened."
