Spruce River Road to close because of flooding

SHUNIAH -- Spruce River Road is down for the count. Shuniah officials on Monday said the road will close on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. because of damages suffered during weekend flooding.

SHUNIAH -- Spruce River Road is down for the count. 

Shuniah officials on Monday said the road will close on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. because of damages suffered during weekend flooding. It will only remain open to local traffic accessing the KOA campgrounds. Motorists will not be able to access Lakeshore Drive from Spruce River Road until repairs are completed. 

The work is expectd to be completed by 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
