We now know when the new Lowe's store at Intercity will open its doors.
According to the company's website, the grand opening will take place on Thursday, August 25.
The U.S. home improvement chain acquired the property last year after American retail giant Target withdrew from the Canadian marketplace less than two years after its aggressive expansion north of the border.
Construction has been ongoing at the new Lowe's location ever since.
The company is expected to employ about 150 people in Thunder Bay.
