Sioux Lookout woman viciously attacked while in her home: OPP

(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON) – On the afternoon of July 7, 2016, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information about an assault that occurred in the Town of Sioux Lookout.  Sometime from mid-afternoon to early evening on July 4, 2016, a 37 year old victim was believed to be in her residence when unknown person(s) attended and committed a serious assault on her. 

The female victim sustained life-threatening injuries.

The residence is located on Front Street, between 1st and 3rd Avenue in the Town of Sioux Lookout.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying any persons seen in the area during the time in question and anyone who has knowledge of the incident.
