(THUNDER BAY, ON)- On Monday, July 25, 2016 at approximately 4:36 pm, officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 17, approximately 30 kms east of Upsala.
The driver of a Subaru Outback was east bound on Highway 17 when the driver of the vehicle veered into the south ditch, causing the vehicle to roll several times.
The four occupants of the vehicle were transported to hospital in Thunder Bay, two by air ambulance and two by land ambulance, all with non life threatening injuries.
The 18 year old male driver, from Hamilton, Ont has been charged with Change Lane Not in Safety contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
