Several municipalities along the North shore are getting a share of more than a million dollars of funding from FedNor.
MP Patty Hajdu (Lib., Thunder Bay - Superior North) was in Terrace Bay Monday to make the announcement.
The bulk of the $1.3 million will go toward the Superior North Community Futures Development Corporation to fund its operating costs for the next three years.
The agency promotes economic growth in several communities stretching from Dorion to Manitouwadge.
Hajdu will be back in Thunder Bay Tuesday for another FedNor funding announcement.
