Hospice Northwest - Volunteers

If you have a caring, compassionate spirit and some time to spare, Hospice Northwest needs you. Volunteers are required to help support individuals and their families living wit life-limiting illness at home or in long term care and/or in hospital settings. Duties range from providing companionship to clients, escorting them to appointments and providing respite for caregivers. Volunteers take a 36-hour comprehensive palliative care training course and must be over te age of 18. A second language is an asset and male volunteers are most welcome.
