New COVID-19 case in Sioux Lookout area

SIOUX LOOKOUT, Ont. -- The Northwestern Health Unit announced it has received a report of a new positive COVID-19 test result in its jurisdiction.

The case is in the Sioux Lookout area.

Follow up with the person involved and with the individuals contacts has started according to protocol.

Anyone who is identified as a contact for this case will be contacted directly.

This new case is connected to the two cases in the Sioux Lookout area announced on Nov. 3 and Nov. 4.

Currently, there are three active cases in the NWHU's jurisdiction.
