THUNDER BAY – Police are investigating after a deceased person was found by a passerby on the city’s north side.
Thunder Bay Police Service said in a media release that officers responded to a walking trail near Strathcona Avenue Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1:30 p.m.
According to police, a passerby in the area saw what they believed to be a body.
The scene is being held by police and the investigation is ongoing. No other information was made available at this time.
