A single vehicle crash Tuesday morning near White River has claimed the life of a 50-year-old man.

Officials with the OPP say the incident took place around 9 a.m. on Highway 17, about two kilometres south of the community.

According to police, the driver of a northbound pick-up truck lost control of his vehicle. The truck then rolled over and ejected the driver.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.
