River overflow leads road closure in Atikokan

A portion of the Sapawe - Upsala Road is being shut down by Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources in Atikokan.
The MNR made the decision to close the road because of an overflow of the Seine River.
Other portions of area highways also remain closed due to recent heavy rains, which led to floods and washouts across the area.
