Police in Fort Frances have arrested a suspect in connection with an April armed robbery.

Officers with the Rainy River District Detachment of the OPP arrested a 22-year-old man on Thursday, May 31, just before 7 p.m.

Police say the arrest took place following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Kings Highway in Fort Frances.

The suspect remains in OPP custody and faces several criminal charges including robbery with a firearm.

The charges are based on an incident that took place at the Fort Frances Canada Safeway Gas Bar on April 10.

Josh Enns, 22, of Fort Frances will appear in provincial court on June 1.
