Section of Highway 17 to close briefly Sunday for repairs

The Ministry of Transportation will be closing a section of Highway 17 east of Highway 614 junction in order to do repairs to that stretch of road.
The temporary highway closure will take place on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. so that workers can stabilize the road base of Alder Creek culvert. Motorists are urged to schedule their trips to avoid the short-term closure.
