A number of roads around the city are scheduled to get a significant construction overhaul this season.
City of Thunder Bay project engineer Rick Harms says a strip of Algoma between Bay and John streets will be down to one lane for most of the season.
Harms adds that the area around the new court house is seeing some work.
“That’s going to include some underground servicing, curb work and sidewalk,” he said during an interview with CKPR Radio.
Some streets in that area will also be repaved during this time. Those roads include:
• Brodie Street
• Miles Street
• Archibald Street
• Justice Avenue
Water main and sewer replacement has also begun on Walsh Street from Beaverhall Place to Neebing Avenue.
