Police want public’s help in locating assault suspect

By tbnewswatch.com

City police are trying to find a man involved in a early morning assault.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say they are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man who assaulted a 21-year-old man at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say officers were called to the area of Brodie and Miles Streets to assist an ambulance paramedic with an unconscious man who had allegedly been beaten.

Witnesses in the area say they saw an Aboriginal man, believed to be 25-years old, standing about five-feet-11-inches tall kicking the victim while he laid on the ground. The suspect wore a red and white striped sweat shirt at the time of the assault.

Anyone with information about this assault is asked to call Thunder Bay Police at 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 623-8477.

honestly, this area of town either needs brighter lighting, night vision cameras & or to be patrolled WAY more often before someone gets KILLED by one of these uncalled for attacks!
