Crash kills driver

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash Monday morning, police have confirmed.

Officers from the traffic unit of the Thunder Bay Police Service are investigating the collision that took place on John Street Road near Belrose Road just after 9:15 a.m.

Police say a 50-year-old man died as a result of the crash.

Police also say it appears the man’s pickup truck left the road and collided with a tree.

Police have not identified the victim.
