By tbnewswatch.com
Officials with Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources say conservation officers laid 20 charges in a four-day enforcement blitz on Basswood Lake
The blitz took place at the lake, which is situated just south of Atikokan, between July 16 and 19. Charges laid included fishing without a licence, having more fish than the limit, and fishing with live bait.
MNR conservation officers also issued 78 warnings, as they checked 169 people for compliance to fishing, boating and park regulations.
