A woman received unknown injuries after being struck by a vehicle at the corner of May Street and Arthur Street.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to the call around 3:30 p.m. Friday about a vehicle colliding with a pedestrian.

Police say the woman was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with unknown injuries.

Police closed off a portion of the road along Arthur while they conducted their investigation.

Police say they expected to have the road reopened in about an hour.
