Terrace Bay residents are celebrating the re-opening of their pulp mill. The India-based Adita Birla Group announced an investment of more than $250 million to the Terrace Bay Pulp mill in June.

Terrace Bay residents are celebrating the re-opening of their pulp mill.

The India-based Adita Birla Group announced an investment of more than $250 million to the Terrace Bay Pulp mill in June. The investment breathed new life into the mill and created 275 jobs.

Mayor Michael King says the people in Terrace By are ecstatic over the news.

The mill is scheduled to re-open in October.
