Another typical weekend in Thunder Bay. Probably due to people been intoxicated & high. We are definitely keeping police officers employed.

Do you think this unique only to us? Do you have unrealistic ideas about how our city should be? Or are you just not worldly/educated enough to understand that stuff like this happens everywhere?

Hey Magellan, there is absolutely an east and west Victoria ave.
Maybe before trying to look intellegent, you could check a map.

Technically Camden is correct. There is a Victoria Avenue East and Victoria Avenue West. Putting the direction in front of the street changes the name of the street rather than explains direction. As for the stabbing, crime exists.

It doesn't "change the name of the street". Fort William always put its cardinal directions before the street name. It wasn't until after amalgamation that the city started a slow and ineffective process of moving directions to the end of the street name.

To THE WOLF. Yeah stuff like this happens everywhere. Just sitting there announcing that fact does nothing. Get out there and do something to help it. Or just sit back and let it go on like it happens everywhere. Everyone can't do/fix/help everything, but everyone can do at least one thing. Anyone worldly/educated enough knows this. Inaction just feeds the problem.

Did I say "Wolf" is just sitting there annoucing or not doing anything. No I didn't. You read yourself into it. I was talking generally about the "What can I do about it" or "I'm only one person" syndrome that seems to abound everywhere.
