THUNDER BAY – The probe continues into Monday night's fatal fire in a Limbrick Street townhouse.

The blaze claimed the life of a 30-year old man whose identity has still not been released.  An investigation by Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office showed there were working smoke alarms installed on all levels of the home.

The investigation also showed that renovations carried out by Thunder Bay District Housing were likely responsible for keeping the flames from spreading to adjacent units.
