A landlord-tenant dispute in Neebing  has led to the seizure of 383 marijuana plants.

Police made the discovery on Sept. 10 while investigating the argument at a home on West Oliver Lake Road. A warrant was executed and both the home and surrounding property were searched by officers with the Thunder Bay OPP, the Northwest Region Organized Crime Enforcment Bureau, Thunder Bay police and the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service.

The value of the drugs seized is estimated by police at $416,000.

Neebing resident William Hulme, 46, was arrested and now faces several charges, including utter threat to damage property, production of cannabis marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The suspect was remanded into custody while awaiting a video bail hearing.
