SIU looking for witnesses to fatal Kenora crash

The province’s special investigations unit is looking for anyone who may have witnessed the crash that killed a 42-year-old female prisoner Sunday.
SIU spokeswoman Monica Hudon says an OPP cruiser transporting the woman to the Kenora Detachment collided with a tractor trailer early Sunday morning.
The prisoner died as a result of her injuries. No one else was seriously injured.
SIU is urging the driver and any passengers of a dark-coloured pickup truck who may have seen the incident or events leading up to it to come forward.
A post-mortem will take place within the next couple of days in Kenora.
